Beef Bacon - 200g (Preservative Free)

Beef bacon is an incredible alternative to regular bacon, as it is made from beef rather than pork. It has a slightly milder flavour than pork bacon and makes a fantastic, new breakfast option. Our new and improved beef bacon is now made solely from the flat-end beef brisket. It is sliced by our master butchers to be 2.5mm to 3.0mm thick, Our beef bacon is cured, dried, wood-smoked and sliced. It has a salty, meaty flavour that people find delicious.

We have just introduced an updated cure for our beef bacon using pineapple juice.  The new version is available in all eastern states being NSW, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania and ACT.

It's ingredients are beef water, reconstituted pineapple juice, food acid (citric acid), Vitamin C, Stabiliser (pectin), natural flavour, salt.   It is not only preservative free, but nitrate, nitrite and sulphite free.

In WA, we are in a transition process but currently our Beef Bacon has the ingredients Beef, Water, Salt, Emulsifier (451), Dextrose, Beetroot powder, Anti oxidant (316), Natural Flavour, Sugar, Anti Caking Agent (551).

We will shortly be transitioning the beef bacon in WA across to the new Pineapple juice cure. 

It crisps up beautifully when pan frying or grilling.
